Running
TTC has a strong link with Tewkesbury Athletics Club. Most of the formal running is done through the AC club and is made up of track sessions, run night and regular races all year round.
Track Sessions
To work on technique and speed there are track sessions at 5.45pm every Friday.
The location is usually the Prince of Wales stadium in Cheltenham which has an excellent running track. During the summer, the sessions sometimes move to Tewkesbury school where there is a grass track marked out. The grass and the slope make for an interesting session.
Run Night
To help get some extra miles and strengthen the running muscles there is a weekly run at 6.45pm every Wednesday
The meeting place is usually Tewkesbury Rugby Club. The route changes on a weekly basis and usually last up to 1 hours and is based on individual requirements as most routes can be cut short if desired.
During the summer there is a 5 mile handicap series. The route is the same and is an excellent measure of your progress with a little race spice added.
Races
To judge your running progress and there are plenty of local events
There are often plenty of people from TTC and the AC club to make it a social event and there is something for every one of all abilities.
