Going Longer

It was the first of the longer races last weekend with a decent turnout of TTCers at the early season Cotswold 113.

Cheered on by an enthusiastic support crew, Jane was 1st Club member home in 5:15 despite not feeling at her best. She was followed home by Suzie in 5:55, Gavin in 6:00 and Elaine in 6:22. Fine performances all round.

In the shorter distances, Claudia finished the Nuffield Health Sprint Tri in 1:16 to finish 78th of 241 females in what was an exceptionally strong field.

Finally, Jenny and her friend Hester completed the Blenheim Super Sprint Tri in 1:10. Both were pleased with their performances. They were even more pleased that they managed to raise over £1000 for Leukaemia Research and would like to thank Club members who generously donated.
