Fancy and Fast!!

Check out the the fancy new TTC logo. It will be appearing everywhere, kit, posters, website rather like that rash you got after your last open water swim!

Meanwhile on the results front, at last it was back to a multi-discipline event involving a bike with the Peopleton duathlon. Claudia started the season as she means to go on with a fine win in the Female category in a time of 1:36. Meanwhile Dave finished 10th in the men's race in 1:25 followed by Martin in 1:32. Martin is picutred on his bike for those of us who forgotten what one looks like.

Claudia also managed to finish second female in that well known nine mile cross country saunter known as the 'Mayhill Massacre' which starts and finishes with a climb over the hill. Her time of 1:23 would have also seen her finish high up in the male standings where Scott finished in 1:26 and Nyall in 1:56.

Out on the roads, Becky flew the TTC flag at the Bourton 10k, finishing in 54:11 while Tom ran a creditable 38:13 to finish 10th in the London Tri show 10k. Rumour is he was being chased by Nicole after he mentioned buying some more essential kit.

The club also sent a contingent over the border to sample the 50m pool at Cardiff. Fortunately Dave Granger was there not only to handle the translation but also to run the session. There were a lot of tired arms on the Monday but no cake was wasted! Rumour has it that the next session will be held in a proper city - check the Facebook page for details.
